The trans-disciplinary approach is becoming a hallmark of research conducted today in both the scientific and artistic domains. Its outcomes are hybrid phenomena such as Nano-Art and Bio-Art, as well as far-reaching speculative inquiries that are changing our perception and understanding of being in the contemporary world. At this symposium, eminent practitioners and theoreticians from the arts in Europe and the USA will discuss vanguard creative endeavours and pioneering institutional initiatives that are shaping the future of the art/science imaginary.
